Instructions

1. Parboil your oxtails and then scrub it with salt to thoroughly clean it. Rinse well with cold water.

2. Add oxtails, daikon, shallot, and water in a pot. Bring pot to a boil and skim impurities as necessary. Season the pot with salt, sugar, and mushroom seasoning. Let the pot simmer on low-medium heat with the lid slightly on for about two hours or until the oxtail is tender.

3. Prep your veggies, mushrooms, egg noodles, and meatballs for the hot pot.

4. Transfer your soup base to a pot for serving then add the veggies, mushrooms, and meatballs. Enjoy your hot pot with egg noodle and the sauce.
