45 mins prepServes 4
A delicious Vietnamese-style sandwich featuring air-fried pork, pickled vegetables, and fresh herbs served in a crusty roll. Perfect for gatherings with friends and family.
1. Marinate the sliced pork with minced lemongrass, minced garlic, fish sauce, agave, dark soy sauce, black pepper, and mushroom seasoning. Ideally, let it marinate overnight.
2. Preheat the air fryer.
3. Add a layer of the marinated pork into the air fryer.
4. Spray with cooking oil and air fry at 375°F for 7 minutes.
5. Flip the pork and air fry for another 5 minutes.
6. Transfer cooked pork to a bowl.
7. Assemble the Banh Mi: open the bread rolls, spread Vietnamese style mayonnaise on each side, add pickled daikon and carrots, sliced jalapeño, sliced cucumber, a handful of cilantro, and the grilled pork.
